Hej da! For non-Swedes, that’s the typical greeting we say over here. Just a little update – The flight to Stockholm was surprisingly comfortable! SAS seems to know what they’re doing. I slept for most of it, however a couple of people I knew on the same flight said that the northern lights made an appearance to welcome us into the country.

We arrived early in the morning, so we had plenty of time to settle in to our new home (pictures coming soon!) and get some necessities. I was shocked to have walked outside at 3:30 p.m. and see that the sun had already set. Apparently we only have about 6 hours of daylight here, as the sun rises at 10! Safe to say, that’s going to take some getting used to. The jet lag has started to hit me as well, as my body was far too energetic for 3 in the morning. We’ve had some agency to do as we please for the first day or two, but orientation has already started and school is right around the corner (beginning on the 20th). That’s all for now, but I’ll be posting some pictures from my time familiarizing myself with the city a bit later!
